Yes, the casinos dispense misery and poverty to fools like me who frequent them. I will be going next week to visit my money and see what lovely things they are doing with it. No co-ops though...

There are currently no dispensaries in the Las Vegas area that I know of.  I am a Nevada Medical Marijuana Patient Registry Card holder and I want to work to start the first.  There is a rising number of card holders in the Las Vegas valley that could definitely support a club, but nobody willing to go out and do it(fear of incarcration, financial backing, security concerns--none of which worries me).  I dont have the financial backing, but if I did, you can believe that this military veteran would do anything possible to get it done.  If there is anybody who has experience in another state dealing with local law enforcement and politicians in this area, then please contact me.  PreacherP@EveryDayLoser.com, or find me through my "How To" video for Nevada Marijuana Card on youtube.  Thanks,

Preacher P.

It is Illegal to sell medicinal cannabis in Nevada or to own a dispensery. I am also a patient and have researched and asked the dept of agr and they said a complete no no and if there is one it is illegal to even the state

Time to get your Legislature involved. We Californians did and we got ab420. After the election might be the right time to do that. I understand Nevada might actually go Blue this election.

Hi.  I was wondering if anyone in Nevada knows how much it costs to get a mm license and do you know that if you have to register with the dmv?  Curious in Tujunga.

You can find all of the information about the Nevada MMJ program on our website, www.MCCNV.com .  The total cost varies, but it is going to cost you between 400 and 500 total for the first year, and around 320 to renew each year after that.  There are no dispensaries in Nevada--(they are currently prohibited by law in Nevada)--however, if you are a licensed patient in NV you can join a Safe Access Club but you must have the Nevada license and Nevada doctor statement.  There is no reciprocity in the Nevada, so the cards from other states wont always help here unless you have a non-public defender for an attorney.  If you have any questions, I'll be more than happy to answer them...

maybe you can post a response to vegasendo who said publicly in post that I dont respond to people. (ive responded to him multiple times, as well as having my non-profit office in vegas that he cant seem to find or call the correct number and leave a message even though every single Nevada thread is PreacherP as the last response...)

You are absolutely right and that is what we are fighting to change...we are out on the front lines, and to be truthful we got haters that are just downright silly...some right here on weedtracker.  Anyways, we are gonna win this one...I was finally able to get the legal protection we need and with todays' Lynch sentencing...I feel the time is right.

It must be real easy to ask "what kind of changes are YOU guys trying to make"?  Maybe you should be part of the help making the changes instead of sitting back being selfish not wanting to do shit until you have a dispensary open to probably be the first person to complain about that.  It gets old...so many people just flap their gums--FUCKING POSERS...

You put it out their like its somebody's responsibility other than yours to make sure you have a dispensary to use BEFORE YOU EVEN GET YOUR CARD???  Wow...fuck Nevada I guess...lets not help the fight...lets not be part of the solution...lets keep being part of the problem...YOU DISGUST ME WITH YOUR CONTEXT!

The sad part is...if you looked around as a LICENSED patient of NV, you'd already have found places to get meds, clones, books and everything else.  PATIENTS HELP PATIENTS...  NOT fair weather fans like yourself.  Get your card and open your own dispensary....Im sure it will turn out awesome since you are such the activist and proponent for patients...but there is no way in hell Im gonna break my back for the selfish...

Give me a break...

Sorry weedtracker family, but Im just sick of the posers that arent even licensed patients...

I read your post, and although I donít comment on other people forums, I feel I need to reply to yours.

Completely the wrong attitude to have. For starters, the person who asked, "what kind of changes are YOU guys trying to makeĒ, probably doesnít even live in your state, and thus can do very little other than send you money to help you start YOUR co-op. Itís a hard long fight to establish a co-op, I should know, I run one. Donít take out your frustrations on the weedtracker community because itís harder than you thought it would be or because you feel that you are entitled to help.

Try and look at it another way, the weedtracker community is interested enough to keep asking how things are going in your endeavors. We are your future patient/vendor base from out of state that will send big money once youíre up and running. Be cool.

Just this last week, we in California saw raids in San Diego and legal walls go up in Lake Forest. Weíre fighting the same fight you are.

On another note, we all, including myself owe a debt of gratitude to you for serving and defending this country. So for that, thank you. :hippie:

I understand that this post is very old, but we would like to comment. The law in Nevada is so messed up. The will allow you to have medicine but wont allow you to buy your medicine. We are lobbying to change this right now, but until then be safe.

Completely Legal has been pushing the boundaries for Las Vegas dispensaries, and currently it is not legal to "sell" marijuana in any way shape or form.  Period.  The first time I went to Completely Legal to even see how it was that they were operating a dispensary, and they assured me that they were following the law.  Days later, they are being raided and 7 people were arrested.

http://www.lasvegass...llegal-marijua/

MM in Las Vegas has some very harsh critics who feel that Medical Marijuana is not a legitimate form of medicine, and there is little help for the decade-old laws that make it legal to possess without any form of way to obtain the drug without breaking some law first .. even if you start with a seed, you have to get something somewhere.

I have been to Completely Legal three times.  Two of those three times, they (including those pictured in the mugshots) effectively accused me of fraud because they didn't like the way my paperwork from my doctor looked.  Right now, I'm waiting over the weekend so that they can call and verify me with my doctor.  And the only reason I'm even waiting is just because I want to see how it is that they can even continue to operate under such extreme pressure from the law enforcement agencies.

Add to that my doctor is a legitimate doctor who treats me for much more than just medical marijuana.  I have a prescription for marinol for my back pain, and I have had this pain for 10 years.  While they are telling me that my doctor, and I quote "sketch" they have some folks with pants around their knees and tattoos all up and down their bodies doing thumb-snap handshakes and calling each other "bra" as they leave with their "medicine."

I mean this is clearly the case of the pot calling the kettle black.  And trust me, I'm legit, and not a recreational user.

I agree that there is a problem, but there's a little bit of a problem here in that if you want to improve the image of patients and patients rights, you have to do more than say "use our doctors if you don't want any problems."  WHAT THE HELL YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO SUGGEST THAT I CHANGE DOCTORS JUST SO I CAN ALLOW YOU TO GIVE ME FREE MARIJUANA AND THEN TELL ME THAT THE RECOMMENDED DONATION IS .. I mean WHATEVER THE F?  This is just bullcrap!

I wouldn't be ranting like this against Completely Legal if they had any form of discretion at all.  They simply say, "you should use this doctor or that doctor that is on our list" and "we don't know your doctor" or "a _real_ doctor wouldn't sign his name like this."

Not once but twice I have gone through this routine with Completely Legal, and it has led me to believe there is a bit of impropriety going on between them and their recommended doctors.

If you ask me, Completely Legal should not be recommending doctors.  And they shouldn't be giving a "recommended donation" if they seriously want to come across as being supported by patients.

Here's the reality as I see it: they ARE SELLING marijuana.  I can't IMAGINE they would let me get out of there without making a "DONATION" when they very CLEARLY tell you what the DONATION AMOUNT IS for each and every item.

I am tired of off this bull crap.  I will say I admire Completely Legal for going against what Metro PD and the Feds want which is clearly NO MEDICAL MARIJUANA AVAILABLE IN LAS VEGAS.

However, when they openly and in front of other so-called "patients" who are clearly recreational users in their office, tell ME that MY DOCTOR is not legitimate, and that I should use one of their recommended doctor, that stinks like shit.  It tells me they aren't happy enough taking so-called "donations" but they want a cut of the doctor referrals too.

I'd be looking for another dispensary, but I don't think anyone else is arrogant enough to take on Metro PD in spite of recent raids on their storefront (or should I say DONATIONfront).

In any case, I am not hating the player, I am hating the game in this case.  But right now as I type, my back is KILLING ME FROM WAITING ALL FUCKING DAY IN MY DOCTORS OFFICE yesterday.  True the irony that now I can't get my GODDAMNED MEDICINE.

Bottom line is: MM in NV is FU

I come from Cali and its just a bitch to get your license here.. Its one thing to say that there isn't people that are willing to fight, but the truth of the matter is that its pretty much financially impossible to get your license here. It costs $700.00+ plus dollars to get a prescription here, and it might not even be accepted everywhere in Vegas, let alone the state. . I'm willing to picket and work hard for the fight.. But where and how do I start?? and where's the compassion??
