In no particular order

1) Ghostbusters - know it by heart

2) Brazil - Need to get that on DVD

3) Blade Runner - "He say you Brade Lunner."

4) Blazing Saddles - Richard Pryor wrote the screenplay with Gene Wilder.  Can it get better?

5) Young Frankenstein - See #4

6) Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl - CAPTAIN, Captain Jack Sparrow.  Savvy?

7) Apocalypse Now - Smells like, victory!

8) Dark City - Tell me THAT movie is not trippy

9) Yellow Submarine - The Classic, and you can sing along

10) Cowboy Bebop: Knocking on Heaven's Door - My WIFE even likes this anime.

11) Either Star Wars, Empire Strikes Back, or Revenge of the Sith.  But NOT Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones or Return of the Jedi.

12) Serenity - Sci-Fi Westerns don't suck.

13) Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan - Khhhhhhhhaaaaaaannnnnnnnn!  Khhhhhhhhaaaaaaannnnnnnnn!  Khhhhhhhhaaaaaaannnnnnnnn!

14) Airplane! - And don't call me Shirley.

15) Pink Floyd The Wall - Only if you have really good strains

there's some great ones there. blazing saddles is hilarious. apocalypse now (i prefer redux) is in my top 5. and airplane is classic. if you like airplane you should see kentucky fried movie. comedy gems in this movie of skits by the same writers. how did i forget easy rider? probably the best movie soundtrack of all time!

Movies that trip me out often are the mainstream stuff from the 1950s an 1960s like "Seven Year Itch" and "How to Succeed in Business Without Even Trying." These flicks are strange.

Also, you got to see "Waking Life" --animation from 2002, I think. You can watch that without medicine and still be tripping.

And I might add "Billy Madison", which is always very funny.

"Kung Fu Hustle"

and

"Shaolin Socer"

But becareful with these movies, you might pee in your pants while watching.

life of brian or anyother monty python film.  

blazing saddles, as said above.

i really enjoy horror films when high though.  hostel and saw II were awesome in theaters after some purple flame and other stuff.

Waking Life - Forgot about that, yeah.  I can't wait for Linklater's "A Scanner Darkly" using the same process.

I got some more:

City of Lost Children - another great visual film.

Naked Lunch - That movie is whacked

Trainspotting - Yeah, I know, but the music...

Hey, I said those!! I used to go see them everytime they would play at the midnight movie theater in Westwood, in what seems like a million years ago! That theater isn't even there anymore!

naked lunch is a strange one for sure. try reading the book, its even harder to understand.
