Long ago I read Hunter and he was my idol with Fear & Loathing.
Another favorite down memory lane is Hugh Prather, Wipe your Face you just swallowed my soul! Another book which was his best, Notes to Myself, there was a third I touch the earth, and earth touches me. These were from the early 70's. Still have them.:couch2:
